Trash Collection Schedule and Information
First Precinct: Tuesday and Friday
Second Precinct: Monday and Thursday
A reminder to all residents that the trash ordinance prohibits placing trash out before 6:00 pm the night before your scheduled day, and to remove your cans from township streets at the end of your scheduled day.
During inclement weather, when putting out cardboard boxes with your trash please make sure they are in your trashcans. The boxes become weak and break because of the precipitation and the trash falls out. We thank you very much for your cooperation!
Holiday Schedule
There will be no trash collection on the following dates:

Heavy Trash Collection
Heavy Trash Collection is on regular schedule of trash days.
All cloth furniture and mattresses must be wrapped in plastic.
No electronics or TV's. No fee.

How to Identify HHW
Typically, item labels that contain the words: HAZARDOUS-DANGER-WARNING-POISONOUS and TOXIC indicate items that contain hazardous material.
Typical HHW include:
- Oil-based paint (Not Latex Paint *see below*)
- Paint thinner
- Antifreeze
- Varnish
- Weed killer
- Pesticides or Fungicides
- Gas or Kerosene
- Heating / Motor Oil
- Items containing Mercury
- Cell phones
- Ni-Cad, lithium, rechargeable & lead acid batteries
NEVER DISPOSE OF HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE WITH YOUR REGULAR TRASH AS THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE TRASH TRUCK AND HARM TO THE WORKERS.
