Lower Chichester Township
Notice of Meetings for 2026
The Board of Commissioners of Lower Chichester Township, Linwood, Delaware County, PA, will hold regular monthly meetings on the third Monday of each month at 7:30 PM on the following dates during calendar year 2026: Jan. 5, Feb. 16, March 16, April 20, May 18, June 15, July 20, Aug. 17, Sept. 21, Oct. 19, Nov. 16, Dec. 21.
The Planning Commission, Zoning Hearing Board, and Civil Service Commission, Board of Health, Fire Committee, Recreation Board and Board of Commissioners Workshop meetings will meet on an as needed basis.
The public is invited to attend these meetings. If anyone needs assistance to attend these meetings, please call the Township building at 610-485-1472 at least 3 days in advance, and a reasonable attempt will be made to accommodate you.
The public may participate in the meetings by submitting written comments to the Township via US mail or by emailing comments to lowerchitwp@comcast.net on or before the date of the meeting at 4:00 PM. Any person interested in participating in the meeting via audio should call the Township at 610-485-1472 and request information as to how to do so. The meeting Agendas will be available on this website.

Senior Citizen Meetings
Senior's regular meetings have been postponed until further notice.
Linwood Youth Center Association:
The Youth Center has re-opened.
Youth Center Hours (as of April 2022):
Girls: Mondays 6:30pm to 7:30pm - every week beginning June 19th
Boys: canceled
Book donations are needed.
All children must be registered by a parent/guardian with proof of address. An ID and one bill listed at the address is required.
Per the Commissioners:
No backpacks are permitted in the youth center.
All items brought in must be in a see through plastic bag.
